Triathlons

'02 - '04

I am energised by the challenge of triathlon. Needing to train for three different disciplines and to then have to put it all together as best as possible on the day, when competing, is a great test. My love for triathlons grew into doing IRONMAN races.

New Zealand Prime Ministers Trade Mission, China

Travelled with the NZ Prime Minister, three Ministers and a business delegation of 25 senior leaders.

Running

To run is to clear my mind, to help me ground myself, to think, and to set me up for the best day I can have. It’s my mindfulness and without it, I am not at my best. Fitness makes us healthier, happier humans.

PolyEmp Service Advisory

Sat on the board of PolyEmp, a Not for Profit service organisation dealing with the workplace placement of mentally handicapped clients.

Aviation

I have a love for flying and I hold my commercial and private pilots licenses. As well as a bachelor in aviation. When I was younger I was going to become a commercial pilot, but for various reasons (which we can discuss!) I decided not to.
